Christopher Taylor

I have been creating art since I was a kid. I used to design and draw houses when I couldn't get to sleep at night. I spent many years play drums and doing gymnastics. I always had some side project of painting or other creative outlet like building tables or designing custom furniture for myself. I eventually attended OCADU for sculpture and performance art.

I then went on to design my own circus apparatus and travel the world as a circus artist and multi discipline physical performer. I began doing photography and digital work while travelling as well as quick sketches on paper in permanent maker . It is hard to have a lot of supplies for Art making on the road. Now that I have a home base again I have been painting on canvas and doing murals on the walls of my studio in Toronto. I continue to use the digital medium as a way to work quickly and do multiples of my ideas. I have a fabulous Giclee studio in my neighbourhood with a great guy who prints my work for me. I am also a singer songwriter with over 100 songs now and I am beginning to take those songs out in the world. I have been running a Handstand Training Studio : Inverted Equilbrium.com for ten years now. I have built a recording studio within that studio too!!! :)

I have now successfully combined all of my Arts into one amazing working studio. Dream Come True!
